Remarks by the President on the Healthy Communities Challenge, from his address at the United Community Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 3, 2016

A microbiologist by profession and mother of five, Janan Najeeb left her career to advocate for the understanding of Muslim culture in Milwaukee, and uses education to change public misperceptions. As founder of the Milwaukee Muslim Women’s Coalition and spokeswoman for Muslim issues in the city, she has been dedicated to social justice and positive change that touches all Milwaukee communities and people of faith.

Steve Daily, Executive Director of the Chudnow Museum of Yesteryear gives a brief introduction to the massive historic collection on display, and some of its more unusual relics. Like the the tonics and elixirs from the 1920s that contained high doses of alcohol or cocaine.
