U.S. Marshals capture 114 wanted fugitives in Milwaukee during recent Operation North Star II

The U.S. Marshals Service recently concluded Operation North Star II, a high-impact fugitive apprehension initiative aimed at combating violent crime in Milwaukee and 9 other cities with a significant number of homicides and shootings. MCTS joins growing list of metro areas that cap bus fares with new collection system called WisGo

Milwaukee County is about to join a list of major metros around the world, such as London, Sydney, Portland, and New York City among others, when it introduces riders to fare capping this spring. Milwaukee County Transit System’s new fare collection system, called WisGo, caps bus fares.
