SDC’s Summer Food Service Program Provides Free Meals for Youth Stressing the importance of offering nutritious meals to children during the summer months, the Social Development Commission’s (SDC) nutrition services area announces the sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program. SBA to award $3.95 million for Startup competition

Past Wisconsin winners include the Midwest Energy Research Consortium (M-WERC) in Milwaukee and Launch Box in Racine. Milwaukee’s Harbor District Awarded National Grant

Mayor Barrett announced that Milwaukee’s Harbor District was awarded a national grant to improve public access to the waterfront. Mayor Tom Barrett announced on May 12 that the Harbor District, Inc. (HDI) and the City of Milwaukee Environmental Collaboration Office (ECO) are among eight recipients of the Bloomberg Award for Partners for Places Grant Program – a project of the Funders’ Network for Smart Growth and Livable Communities.
