Bublr Bikes saw unprecedented usage over holiday

Bublr Bikes, Milwaukee’s bike share system, saw a record number of trips this past weekend. The Milwaukee Brewers will hosted the franchise’s 11th annual Negro League Tribute Game at Miller Park on Saturday, June 25, when the team took on the Washington Nationals. The Brewers honored the significance of the Negro League and their impact on the game by donning Milwaukee Bears uniforms, the city’s 1923 Negro League representative. Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett announced on June 28 that $8 million in workforce funding had been awarded by the U.S. Department of Labor, with the focus to train Milwaukee residents for careers in technology fields. Supreme Court rules unconstitutional State efforts to block abortion

On June 28, the Supreme Court of the United States denied review of Wisconsin’s Seventh Circuit court decision enjoining the state’s unconstitutional admitting privileges law from going into effect.
