ZIP MKE plans to crowdsource photos from all 27 zip codes

A new grassroots organization called ZIP MKE launched a unique photographic experiment on September 28, 2016. Between the launch and the end of the year, their core team of six “Zipsters,” as they’re calling themselves, will not only contribute their own photos to an online gallery but also invite residents of the city of Milwaukee to submit photos of people and places that celebrate the beauty and diversity, not the divisions, of the city. Federal approval given for County’s Bus Rapid Transit program

SBA awards grant to WWBIC for disadvantaged entrepreneurs

The Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corp. (WWBIC) is set to receive a $149,000 grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Program for Investment in Micro-Entrepreneurs (PRIME).
