Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett presented the Common Council with his 2022 budget on September 21, highlighting the fiscal challenges ahead due to the Republican-dominated state legislature’s refusal to give the city the tools it needs. Governor Tony Evers invests $19.7M in transit services for Milwaukee after state lawmakers deprive funding

Governor Tony Evers announced on August 30 a $25 million investment in transit services for the city of Madison and Milwaukee County, supported by the state’s American Rescue Plan Act dollars.
