Insensitive “Cards Against Humanity” begins Milwaukee scavenger hunt

Company brings popular yet controversial game to Milwaukee for special weeklong give-away of collectable cards. Cards Against Humanity announced on its Instagram page that it was holding a scavenger hunt in Milwaukee this week. The game’s title was taken from the phrase “crimes against humanity,” which reflects the nature of its inappropriate content. “We’re hiding our brand new green boxes with 300 new cards around the city for the next five days,” the company said in its public post. Museum of Advice: An archive of the search to solve problems

The Woodland Pattern Book Center to host free pop-up museum exhibit from January 10 to 22, with a recital talkback on January 14. Local performance artist and poet Anja Notanja Sieger organized an “Advice Tent” for the public in conjunction with Milwaukee’s first Fringe Festival in August. Crowdfunding campaign to support book about Jazz in Milwaukee

The history of jazz music in Milwaukee and the contemporary revival will serve as an entry point to consider issues of race, class, culture, hip-hop, and identity in America.
