Milwaukee entrepreneurs awarded funds from WEDC grant program

Nearly $500,000 in grants to help local, regional initiatives for Wisconsin startups. The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) announced that 11 organizations have been awarded nearly $500,000 in grants to help develop or expand innovative programs aimed at advancing the climate for entrepreneurship throughout the state. Bought Milk? $52M settlement with Big Dairy to expire

Claim period ends on January 31, with consumers urged to file claims for reimbursement for overpriced milk and other dairy products. Consumers in 15 states and the District of Columbia who purchased dairy products have been entitled to a portion of a $52 million settlement, culminating a massive antitrust lawsuit filed against the nation’s largest dairy producers.
