The Chinese tile game Mah Jongg has brought together the Jewish-American community since the 1920s. The Jewish Museum Milwaukee recently finished hosting the traveling exhibit Project Mah Jongg: An Exhibition Honoring the Memories, Legacy and Charms of the Game.

Since it started in 2008, Yacht Blast for Kids has become the largest fundraising event for Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. The August 28 event served 34 families who rode yachts on Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee River.
