Milwaukee Rep announced on February 25 that it would reopen with in-person performances of the previously announced “Ella Fitzgerald: First Lady of Song” with Alexis J Roston beginning April 27 and running through May 23 in the Quadracci Powerhouse Theater. Jewish Museum Milwaukee (JMM) launched its newest exhibit, “To Paint is to Live: The Artwork of Erich Lichtblau-Leskly,” both in-person and online February 19. To Paint is to Live explores the life and work of Erich Lichtblau-Leskly, a Czech Jewish artist who used art and satire as tools for coping and resistance while imprisoned in Theresienstadt Ghetto during World War II. Regional development plan outlines transformation of 30th Street Corridor into Shared-Use Trail
