Future teachers get financial help from Lubar Scholarship

A $1 million gift from Marianne and Sheldon Lubar will allow Alverno College to prepare more future teachers and help them reach graduation. Report questions $21m spent annually for non-school youth programs

A report by the Public Policy Forum released recently indicated that Milwaukee’s major governmental entities are investing considerable resources in out-of-school programming for the city’s youth, but that investments could be better tracked and coordinated. Margaret Muza becomes ninth Artist-in-Residence for Pfister Hotel

The historic AAA Four-Diamond Pfister Hotel recently announced Margaret Muza as its ninth resident artist.
