With growing national concern about cyber security, the center will provide education, services and research to the Marquette campus and the region. Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) announced that it will receive one-time proceeds of $84,931,314 as a result of its voluntary participation in the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) broadcast incentive auction. The MATC Foundation received a $104,000 gift from the Greater Milwaukee Foundation Hank Aaron Fund and the Hank Aaron Chasing the Dream Foundation 4 for 4 Scholarship program.
