The Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee issued a strongly worded joint-response on April 8 to attempts by State leaders to allow for in-person worship services during a highly contagious pandemic that is sweeping across Wisconsin. The Milwaukee Press Club announced the winners of its 90th Annual Gridiron Awards for Excellence in Wisconsin Journalism, and Milwaukee Independent was selected as a finalist for 13 features.
