View the interactive map produced by the Milwaukee Independent as a companion to its coverage of the art project that transformed a blighted spot on the East Side of Milwaukee into an art showcase. Basic location markers are offered for each mural in Black Cat Alley, with a thumbnail image for each artist. The 360° video has been included and can be turned in any direction while it plays for better reference.
These photos show Black Cat Alley as it appeared on August 8, 2016. Jeremy Novy’s Koi fish were installed in June, before MTO’s frog mural kicked off the project fundraiser in July. The alley walls were cleaned and prepared for the main art installation from September 5 to ended September 17.
